A new flyover in Phnom Penh, named after Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, is expected to be completed by late next month.

According to Director of Phnom Penh’s Department of Public Works and Transport Mr. Sam Piseth, the construction progress has reached approximately 85 percent as of now.

Strategically located at the border between Phnom Penh capital and Kandal province, the Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet Flyover will enhance connectivity between Samdech Techo Hun Sen Road and Techo International Airport, Cambodia’s largest airport, set to open later this year.

The project, which broke ground on June 17, 2024, comes at a cost of approximately US$16.2 million and is being developed by the Overseas Cambodian Investment Corporation (OCIC).
