Over 400 athletes took part in a half-marathon organised by the Ratanakiri Provincial Administration on the afternoon of February 1, 2025.
The event was held on the afternoon of February 1, 2025, in the presence of Mr. Nhem Sam Oeun, Governor of Ratanakiri Province, and his wife, with more than 400 Cambodian and foreign athletes participating.
Athletes ran a distance of 21 kilometers, starting from the Rompaeng Plain (Thoma Da Field) in O Chum District, arriving at the Boeung Kanseng Resort in Ban Lung City, and running 4 more laps to the finish line at the Elephant Family Statue.
The winners of this event recieved 9 gold medals, 8 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals.
