Farmers from three communes in Romduol district express their interest in seeking assistance to establish modern agricultural community

Khim Finan, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, said on February 4, 2025, that he met with farmers from three communes in Romdoul district, Svay Rieng province.

The undersecretary of state said that these farmers had requested that the working group explain clearly the procedures, benefits, and dividend distribution of the modern agricultural community before making a final decision on whether to form the community.

The farmers in the three communes have nearly 1,000 hectares of dry rice fields and are interested in requesting help to form a modern agricultural community for them.

Finan hoped that there would be another modern agricultural community in Svay Rieng Province in the near future.
