The Ministry of Tourism (MoT) will organise a ‘Cultural Tourism and Trade Fair’ from January 27-31 alongside the 2024-2025 photo and video competition in Preah Sihanouk Province, said a press release on January 6.
The Sihanoukville Provincial Department of Tourism has invited operators, youth, and students to participate in the five-day ‘Cultural Tourism and Trade Fair’.
The MoT, in collaboration with the Sihanoukville Provincial Administration, will host the Cultural Tourism and Trade Fair at Techo Stadium.
The event will feature a variety of activities, including food exhibitions, trade fairs, art performances, and sports competitions.
In addition, the program will include a photo and video competition under the theme, “Each One Is a Cambodian Tourism Promoter.”
This initiative aims to identify talented individuals who can creatively showcase the appeal and potential of Preah Sihanouk Province, attracting both national and international tourists.
The competition’s purpose is to position Sihanoukville and the Kingdom of Cambodia as a whole as a prominent tourist destination both locally and globally. It also seeks to expand the promotion of these tourism areas through digital and social media platforms.
The competition also aims to highlight the beauty of natural resources, cultural heritage, civilisation, and other attractions in Preah Sihanouk Province through innovative and highly creative images and videos, read the release.
