Cambodia Expands Air Links with South Korea and China via Siem Reap-Angkor Airport – វិមាន៧មករា

Cambodia is expanding its international air connectivity with South Korea and China through Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport, with a new seasonal service from Seoul, South Korea and additional flights from Yunan province’s Kunming city, China, according to the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation’s (SSCA) statement on Oct. 28.

Meanwhile, China Eastern Airlines has increased its Kunming-Siem Reap service from three to four flights a week, effective Oct. 25, 2026.

The additional China Eastern flight operates on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, using Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The increased frequency is expected to improve access to Siem Reap from southwestern China.

Trinity Airways will launch a new seasonal daily service between Seoul-Incheon and Siem Reap from Dec. 24, 2026 to Mar. 3, 2027. The airline will operate the route using Boeing 737-800 aircraft during Cambodia’s peak tourist season.

SSCA Secretary of State and Spokesperson H.E. Sinn Chansereyvutha said the new services would support Cambodia’s tourism growth and strengthen international connectivity, particularly with two important Northeast Asian tourism markets.

The SSCA said the expanded services would strengthen air links with South Korea and China, while supporting greater international visitor arrivals and creating more economic opportunities for Siem Reap.

The SSCA said it remains committed to facilitating airline operations, promoting market access and working closely with aviation and tourism partners to advance Cambodia’s connectivity and economic development.
